Who and where is the Church of Jesus Christ? What are the essential features of the Church? How does the Church grow and participate in bringing heaven to earth? How does the Church take the good news of Jesus Christ into the world and be the Church in the world? These are very important questions that we must ask ourselves, as the Church, in the midst of a society that really doesn’t want anything to do with the Church.
Join us over the next four weeks as we kick off the year looking at four attributes of the New Testament Church: Organic, Multiplying, Simple and Sent. We believe this series will build on the missional foundations that have been set within the DNA of ECN and propel us forward in mission as we look at our identity from a fresh perspective. Let us then, by the grace of God, be open to what it means to be the people of God in Scotland for today.
